Default Can't get my oil pan to drop down....

I'm doing my cam swap and am trying to drop down my oil pan so I can reach the pickup tube bolt. I've loosened all of the bolts I can see and when I pry my pan down it just flexes down. I loosened some forward facing bolts on the bell housing but that didn't help either. Is there a bolt I'm missing? Any help would be appreciate, I've got a 2000 Z28 M6.

did you get the 2 long ones at the back of the pan? those are the ones I missed. If they are all loose it should drop pretty easily

You need to remove the two bolts that go through the bellhousing...don't pry on the pan. Also, there are the two bolts at the very rear of the pan that are longer (10 mm head) that need to come out.

I pulled the two on on the bell housing. Did you have to remove the oil filter to get to one *way* behind it?

I screwed up the same thing, you have to pull the oil filter, and there is a 10mm bolt behind it as well. And make sure you get the teo 13mm bolt coming from the bell housing into the pan they run from the back of the car to the front of the car rather than up and down like all the 10mm bolts.
