Default Cam help Y 1 stamped on cam? input needed

Pulled apart a 99 LS1 to sell the short block. On the end of the cam there is Y 1 stapmed on it. No other part numbers or anything like I have seen on other stock LS1 cams. Could this be aftermaket? Figured someone might know. Scott

MTI makes a "Y1" cam. But its pretty big and you would know if it was aftermarket.

There are no other markings on it other than a large Y and 1 on the back end of the cam. The car had a lot of other performance bolt ons, but no headers & stock heads. The springs were not dual, but sold the heads a while back & never paid attention to the springs. MTI was who I was thinking of. I have one of their C 2 cams. Scott
