Default Smallest chambers/Most I can mill 5.3's w/ Torquer 2 - 113 lsa

Like the title says, I'm buying some PRC 5.3 stg. 2.5's - 2.04/1.575 and was wondering what the most I can mill them and run a .040 gasket without having to flycut. I know the MS3 will clear them w/o flycutting so I have some clearance but don't know the max. I know flycutting would be better for my DCR and quench but I don't have the know-how nor the money to pay someone to do it. Thanks in advance.

I think you should call Jason, but I do not think you could safely mill them much if any at all. I know I have the exact same heads with a custom 228/234 LSK/XER .640/.598 cam with a 110 LSA and plan on installing it +2, and he did not think it would be safe to mill mine. I think the V2 has even more intake duration which would make it even closer since it is supposedly the intakes that run close on these. Do you know what advance your cam was ground with? That would make a difference as well.

TV2 113 is 0 advance
There is no way you can mill and ad .040 gaskets and clear that cam on intake. And by clear I do not mean cam spins freely but a true .080/.100 minimum clearance.

Any less than that is potential suicide on hydraulic street motors.

BTW I used that cam before with the same heads (unsunk valves) so I ought to know.
