Default rocker needle bearings - can they get in the exhaust?

my cylinder 5 exhaust rocker threw out half of its needle bearings. would it be possible that somehow these could make it into the exhaust, or is that impossible. i know most make their way to the oil pan or sit on the head, but is it possible some made their way into my ypipe and got caught in the cats?
