Unhappy need help!!!! no oil pressure at idle.

Just bought a used stock short block to rebuild my car due to burning a piston in the last one. Everything was a success but no oil pressure at idle. At 2000 rpms i get about 20 and the more i rev up the pressure climbs just a little bit. My car would normally idle with the pressure at 60. I have changed the oil pressure sensor as my first move but no help. I reused my ported oil pump that worked great before. If anyone has any ideas please let me know.

That, OR maybe you pinched the pickup tube o ring like tons have in the past.

OR you might have been gypt and sold a motor with trashed bearings.

Try a mechanical guage on it first and go from there.
