Looks like it's coming from your PCV valve right above it. Better to leak out there than get sucked into the intake manifold.
You can search on PCV and/or 'catch can' in here and find a lot of info. I just installed the Z06 valley cover which tries to fix the LS1 oil consumption issues. I may put in a catch can as well though.

I'm assuming it isn't very much oil, because I don't think there any that normally runs through that area, unless I'm off. You might have a small leak in the valve cover or perhaps you could have a small leak in the hose right above it. I believe that's where the "catch can" normally installs so it could be you have a leak there and you've essentially created a catch can without the can. But I could be way off here, I haven't done the catch can mod.
Pretty sure you don't have a dangerous issue, but if that hose is leaking you could be drawing in fresh unmetered air which could cause a lean condition. Depending on how lean your running that could get bad at high RPMs.

I believe that's what i was. I replaced the valve yesterday (fair amount of oil in there) and sealed up some cracking hoses (thanks for the duct tape idea) temporarily until i get a ls6 conversion. Appreciate it guys, if i still have issues then i'll need to get a catch can I suppose.
