Default pushrod length

im not sure of what pr length i should go with have a cam motion cam going into my car the specs and 236 240 .627 .641 112 the heads and ported 853 milled .010 with crane cam dual springs. should i go with just stock length or shorter pr.

Best to buy an adjustable pushrod and measure. Pushrods should always be the last part ordered once the motor is assembled and all measurements are made.

If I were to guess, yeah, it would be 7.400 pushrods, but as vettenuts said, the proper way is to check the length with a checker.

check your valvetrain geometery with an adjustable until to get it right, then order that length. that is the only way to do it correctly.

For the 1000th time this question is asked ill respond the same as always. Get yourself a pushrod length checker tool and measure it for yourself, that way you will know with 100% certainty what size PR you need. The tool is only $20 and will save you a lot of guesswork.
