Unhappy Brown Smoke @ W.O.T. - is this normal?

I've noticed that whenever I "punch it" and look in the rearview to see the poor sucker whose headlights I just sucked out, I usually see a puff or two of light brown smoke blast out of my tail pipes. Is this normal? Does anyone else notice this?

Brown is rich... Check your tune. White = coolant. Blueish = oil. Blackish brown = too much fuel. Cheer up, its no big deal.

if its just a puff or two i wouldn't worry about it, but if it keeps smoking the whole time you have it floored, then i would worry about it

when my car was stock with cats and stock intake it would even puff out a little if i were to downshift to 2nd at like 40 mph and hammer it. These cars run pretty rich on the factory tune above 4500 rpm im sure its the same way with ls1's. On the stock tune above 4500 my afr went from a nice 13.0 to about 11 or so close to redline
