ported & shaved ls1 heads gettin my heads ported and shaved tomorrow for free ... what would you think a estimate on gains be? i have the tr224, stock ls1 intake manifold but the EGR has a plug in it .... maybe 25-30horsepower?

all depends on how good the job is, and how far they go. I can't say b/c I don't know, but I would assume since its free its not a professional?
I have '00 style heads ported, flow over 300CFM, and I got a cam that should give me about 380-400RWHP and comprable TQ, and w/ these heads I make 445RWHP.

If I were you, I would just clean up the heads and mill. If the poeple porting are not Pros, you could end up hurting your head flow in areas that matter most (midlift)
