Default Which head gasket to get?

Have a TSP 224 cam and am going to put some unmilled ls6 heads on.

Which gasket to get?

GM stock gaskets?
Cometic LS1 gasket?

Also, what bore? and what thickness?

thanks in advance

Cometic .040 to tighten up your quench area and give a slight bump in compression.

I have this same exact setup and question. How much of a bump in compression do you see with the cometic? Could I mill my unmilled LS6 heads a little too? I would be using 91 octane.

If milling is out of the question, youre gonna want to shoot for a .040 to .045 thick gasket. Unfortunately your options are somewhat limited. I guess cometic is the obvious choice, but your wallet will hate you for it.
