Crankshaft manufacters and specs?
im lookin in to an upgraded (non stroker) crank i heard of a stock replacment forged crank, is this avalible? could i lighten my stock one to make it rev faster? what are some prices, manufacters and part numbers? any adivise would help thanks

You can find a stock size forged crank but it's gonna cost you over $2000 and I'd get a stroker crank at that point since you will want to get aftermarket rods too.

I agree with PSJ;
I thought the stock nodular iron crank is good to over 600 or 700 HP, anyway.
So, it seems incredibly cost ineffective to replace the factory crank for a forged unit of the same stroke...
At least one sponsor has indicated that the prices of forged cranks have come down and the trend is likely to continue.
When compared to the prices of forged Gen II cranks, which can be had for mere peanuts, the prices of LS1 cranks seems a rip to me!
