Triton LS6 Style Heads Anyone use them????
So a machine shop in my area is selling a set of Triton LS6 style cylinder heads. I talked to the guy at the shop this morning and he said they have 2.02 1.55 valves, the combustion chambers are reworked a little bit, and also they are Styrofoam cast instead of sand cast making them lighter and a cleaner casting. So my question is if anyone has any experience with them?

Never heard of them before. Although if you do buy them I would have the valves back cut at a 30* angle to help pick up some extra flow (usually arould 15 cfm for your low to mid lift flow).

I had one in here from a sales rep but I've not used or sold them. All they are is a Chinese knock off of a stock Ls-6 head except not as good. The price is right but the chamber is a mess IMO. Personally I would buy a stock Gm 243 or 799 head first.
