MS3 and TSP 2.5 LS6 heads on a 408-418?
Will that top end flow enough for that size bottom end? I am looking for a top end I can build now, run with spray, then build the stroker later. Mind you this will be a vic Jr intake carb'd combo. Thanks a lot guys!

The heads & cam setup will work fine in a 408+ cid stroker, but you'll be leaving some power on the table. If you purchase stage 2.5 LS6 heads, you can always send them back to be upgraded to stage 3's when you install the stroker. Our stage 2.5 and stage 3 cylinder heads use the same CNC program. The only difference is valve size with the stage 2.5's using stainless 2.02"/1.57" vs. the stage 3's stainless 2.08"/1.60". The stage 3's will flow an additional 8-10 cfm more than the stage 2.5's on a 4" or greater bore size.
Our MS3 will make for a nice street/strip cam in a stroker. You can certainly make additional power with a larger camshaft, but our MS3 will make for some nice average HP and TQ with a relatively low peak RPM.
Feel free to e-mail me at trevor@texas-speed.com or PM me with any questions or concerns.
Thanks!

You should get someone to spec you a custom cam.. or go with one of TR's or TSP's stroker grinds. MS3 was made for a 346/347, so while it's not a terrible choice, you're leaving some on the table. A 408/418 has a lot of cubes... takes a lot of cam to make one rowdy.
