Default my PTV problems look!!!

i have a 98 ls1 camaro i was doing a H/C swap and took everthing off today and i put the new cam in a comp 224/230 591lift on 114 lsa and casting 853 heads ported milled and polished and a 3 angle valve job and i tested the PTV and i was .040 on the exhaust and .080 on the intake and then i put my stock heads on it and tested it and i was .070 on the exhaust and well over
.100 on the intake does that sounds right or is there anything that could be broke or something??? because i would have thought that cam would fit on stock heads at the least

Did you clay it or use a checking spring? Did you have a gasket in there? Numbers seem backwards, should be .080 int and .100 exh...

Did you use a solid lifter?
Did you check your pushrod length w/new heads?
I would think you would have more room than that w/stock heads?

Did you dgree the cam it should have more than that on stock heads.
Use a degree wheel, dial indicator, modified lifter, light spring and adjustable p-rod checker.
1st degree the cam.

If you used a solid lifter, (you should when caying), you need to add your preload to those numbers. I don't like the clay method, although it is better than not checking. Try to get an adjustable PR, some checking springs and a dial indicator and check them that way.

Nevermind, listen to Pred... I type too slow
