i was going to replace the rod bolts when i changed to forged pistons, when i pulled one rod, i noticed it had a furell(sic) in the rod cap-its about .020 to small for the arp bolts, and if i rem it, the hole in the rod cap is aprx. .020 larger that the arp bolt-i did a search, didnt find anything about that
i would guess you just leave the fer out and alighn the cap/rod?
