Default Building a stoker- Compression, Cam and Head opinnions needed!

Im going to try the 436 stoker kit, They have several different combinations to choose.. Flat top, domed or dished pistons- with different compression.

1. I plan on spraying nitrous on the motor, A large shot. Should I keep the compression in the 9:1 range or can I go higher safely?

2.Dished pistons ok for use to keep the compression right?

3. Cylinder heads.. Is a fully ported LS6 head (243) with a large cam going to bring enough air to for his size engine, or am I going to have to get a differnet head?

Use this to build your compression ,I run 11:5:1 on my LS2 418cid. and a 250 shot profogger.

With that much cubic inch you are going to want to look into an after market cylinder head. That LS6 head will not be enough.

What kind of block are you planning to use? Sleeved LS1? LSX? Let me know if there is anything we can do to assist in your assembly and machining needs. We are celebrating our 40 year Anniversary in 2008 and we are going to be offering some really good pricing.

Thanks,
Leo
