Default All Pro heads?

Anybody run All Pro heads on an NA application? I've only seen them on FI cars.

I've only got a good look at 1 set of LS All Pro heads and I wasn't too impressed. I dunno if it was the CNC or really bad core shift but there has a good patch of area that the CNC couldn't cut going right over the short turn, so it left this 2" long "gutter" of raw cast right down the center of the short turn. Then there was the valvetrain. I dunno if All Pro set it up or not, but the springs barely fit into the spring pockets, the springs weren't chamferred so the sharp inside edge of the spring sat right on the radius in the Ti retainers, the retainers fit really tight, and the intake valves had a radial keeper groove while the exhausts had a square keeper groove.

BTW, thats just ONE set that I happened to get a look at. I'm not saying every All Pro head is like that, but just stating what I saw. I'm pretty sure there was a set on one of the top 5 engines in the Engine Masters Challenge, but that was a SBC.

I have a set of their bare castings. I have a few pictures of them. Keep in mind these are an as cast head so mine have not been CNC ported. You can judge for yourself.

Some casting flash that I plan on getting rid of.
