How much for a full overhaul? If I need one I have a 1999 z28 a4 with high mileage, and I'm about to start modding. heads, cam, intake, tb, lts, tds, stall for the tranny, and some possible n20. my motors not smoking or anything but I want it to be strong after mods so how much will I be out of do an overhaul? Or what other options do I have.

If you really want to beat on the engine and can afford it - you can get a forged short block for around $4k. All brand new parts and you won't have anything to worry about. Talk to speed shop local to you and let them know what you want, and how much ca$h you have.
