Default Will 02 MAF work on an 00 LS1 motor?

It looks to me as though they are different but my buddy has an 02 MAF sensor I can use if it will work. Anybody have any ideas?

Put one on my 99 FRC, stock is a 78mm, 01-04 is a 85mm. I bought the 5 pin adapter and installed with a 01-04 high flow power duct and blackwing filter. runs real rich now, but really woke the engine up. I'm hoping with header install it might equal out some, if not, then the dyno tune should fix it.

If it's an F-body they are the same size. They list different part #'s so maybe some difference, I'm not for sure. When switching from a stock MAF to an 85mm and not tuning for it, my car threw a rich code within 100 miles. It would also fall on it's face out of the hole. Good luck!

you could ask this in the tune section or even the "external" section. Probally yield better results than the "internal" engine section. not trying to come off as rude, just trying to help.
