New OEM LS1 Short block
I am looking to purchase a new oem LS1 short block. I have oil pan, front and rear covers, lifters, timing set, intake and exhaust manifolds. I just want a short block with block and rotating assembly. It's going to be a stock build for my 99 Corvette. Any ideas?
Sorry for not being totaly clear. I currently have a Lingenfelter 403 with Tony Mamo ported 205's, XER 242/242 cam, and all the stuff in my sig. I want to build a completely stock LS1 using as a starting point a new OEM LS1 short block. I have 241 heads, LS6 manifold, stock cam, stock pushrods, valley cover, front and rear covers, oil pan, lifters, timing set, throttle body, injectors, pulley, etc. I want to build an LS1 to completely stock specs for a 99 vette. In a while I'm going to swap the 403 for the stock motor, reflash the PCM, and sell the car, keeping the 403 for a future project. I don't want a built or blueprinted motor as the cost wouldn't justify the means. I just want the oem shortblock to put my stock parts on, bag it, and do the swap, when I'm ready.
