Oil? leaking near driver's side

Oil? leaking near passenger's side Hi, i'm currently battling with a leak near the starter i think. All I know is that there's fluid getting on the exhaust and burning but it doesnt smell like burning oil. There's also oil all over the starter and near the bolt that points straight up for the starter. What can be back there that can leak?
EDIT: actually it was PASSENGER side.
