Default what cam with my heads

okay i have a 6M 01 z28, lid,pacesetter coated lt's, flo master catback. The heads i want are these 205cc LS1 Mongoose Street Aluminum Cylinder Head The Small Port, High Velocity Torque Monster

i dont think any cam will get you to 500hp

Those are excellent heads to form a foundation of achieving 500 hp. Most people on this board speak about rear wheel horsepower though, and getting 500 rwhp is very difficult with heads and cam. While dozens have achieved this lofty goal, none of them were able to do it on the cheap. You will see examples with AFR 205, ETP 215, TFS 215 and Cartek heads making 500 or more rwhp. All of them were milled to give smaller combustion chamber size (to raise their compression).

k i dont know alot about heads and cams. Those are the heads i am going to buy i was just curious which cam would match up best with it. Also ive heard of people getting 500rwhp with bolt ons and a good h/c. but maybe they had something else and were bsing me. thanks
