Default trick flow kit. which cam?

i bought a Trick Flow 515 HP GenX Top-End Engine Kit and the supplied cam is

228/230 585/585 should i stick with this cam or run something else? if i run something else what should i run? all info is appreciated.

it a 1998 trans am a4 342 rear gear. i have a lid. pacesetter race headers. true dual's with x pipe and single chamber flowmaster's. lower of engine is stock. i just want a fast street car that puts up some nice numbers at the track.

ran a 13.5 et before the trick flow kit.

you have it, might as well run it and see where you are. Generally when manufacturers put a package together like that they have specific goals in mind, i.E. xxxHP while maintaining decent driveability, etc...as long as their goals match yours you should be OK.

Hey guy's I just purchased my 02' SS and was wondering about the same kit like smokeyrider05. I saw it in the summit racing magazine and was thinking about doing this package later on down the road. So you guys recommend it?

Im running that cam and I made some decent power with it. Get a good tune on it and I think you should scratch the 11's.

11's no problem with that cam. I got a car in the 10.90's with that similar grind. 228/232 to be exact.

That setup should definately get you in the 11's with a good tune. And that is a nice "power under the curve" cam which should be great for the street. I don't see an intake on your mod list, I would try to at least come up with an LS6 intake before install time.

X2. An LS1 intake would be a serious bottleneck on your new setup.

You also should have a stall. I'd go for a 3200 Vig.
