Default 1.7 vs. 1.8 RR's

What’s the major difference? Im looking at a couple different company's ( Jegs,Harland Sharp, ect) And Im guessing for my application I'll only need 1.7's but im just wondering.

My cars just a weekend warrior, never gets driven, not looking to build a Drag car just a decent street car.

Also is there any other company's I should look into?

Anyone have the Jegs RR's? Im kinda scared of buying the cheap off brand.

If you are considering 1.8's, Crane is the only one to consider. If you are in the market now, someone on Corvetteforum is selling a use set for a pretty reasonable price.
