did mahle make the stock pistons

Did mahle make the pistons for the 02 ls1's???? i was unforcant enough to break a piston and pulled the motor apart and "mahle" is on the inside of the piston.

Yes, mahle manufactures stock pistons for alot of different engines.

They make the forged ones for the 03-04 Cobra also, I think.

Yes, Mahle is the supplier for many OEM pistons domestic and import. Truely top of the line parts, especially their ProPack Forged pistons.

I'm pretty sure the Cobra used TRW's, TRW supplies alot of pistons for Ford.
