Default Need suggestions for 11 sec m6 DD

I'm still unsure of what I'm really going to end up doing, but I have a 100k longblock LS1 in good running shape not installed in my Firehawk. I've thought about building a 408. I've thought about going with a forged 347 & FI. but I think for the extra money I spend on those I can keep this motor, add some power making mods, and with the extra money I could get a 12 bolt, 9", and/or suspension mods.

My goals: 400+RWHP. Streetable. 200 miles/week, stop & go traffic. Want to pick up lots of power between 2500-5500 rpms. Want to at least get 24mpg on the HWY @ 65mph. And I want to run at least mid 11's with slicks. No nitrous. And at near full weight.

I've heard good things about the Torq. V3, MS3 & MS4, G5x3 & G5x4 cams but I don't know if any of them would fit my goals, if I don't spend over $1400 on a set of heads. I've seen some G5 cam only with bolt ons, suspension, and 4.56 gears running low-mid 11's but I don't want gears like that. Looks like I'll want a Fast 90/90. Along with that I'll be buying a lid, long tube headers, electric cutout behind headers, and haven't decided if I want a catted exhaust or ORY.

that's a good deal! are you talking about stage 1 or 2 LS6 heads?

anyone else have an opinion about cam size to suit my application?

i would suggest looking through the dyno part of this forum and looking at graphs. think about a smaller cam with a good set of heads and up the compression.

230/232 .612/.595 111+2 LSA
Patriot LS6 (243) casting stage 1 with dual Gold springs
+ bolt ons and suspension tuning

Exhaust go with LTs and true duals over the axels

Rebuild you shortblock, find a 12 bolt, relo brackets, some prothane bushings, Hal shocks (coil over) and thick sway.
