Default I'm new, I have a question. can i get this?

im looking for a 2001 z28 auto. i wanted to know if i could get an slp loudmouth, hooker lt headers. slp y-pipe, and a slp cam.how much hp will i gain for this(if i can use all this stuff). also do you reccomend anything else. i know i want a loudmouth, i like the sound. im only 16 years old, and not planing to get this stuff until im 17-18 but i just wanted to learn as much as possible. i know someone;s going to say be careful and not to act stupid like teenagers so i just wanted to say im definetly not going to get into street racing , i learned this from my cousin who almost died from street racing.ill race at my local dragtrip.
Edit:opps wrong catagory. sorry about that

well you can get a 2001 z28. And as for those mods, loudmouth is ok (but personally i like the dynomouth better), the hookers long tubes are good and be sure to get them coated, you can get the hooker y pipe if you wanted (but i am kinda anti-SLP)and i would go with someother cam depending on what you want out of it. and 2 things i didnt see are a new lid and a torque converter. This is just my .02, Kyle

Make sure you know a little about cams first before you pick one out.

Listen to Juice about the cam. Putting a cam into an auto is going to give you some fits if you don't get it tuned properly. The cam and tuning alone will set you back some bills, not considering the stall, lid, headers, exhuast and all to help it breathe a little better. And IMHO... I like the LM, guys!!!

I am anti SLP too. Go with the easy and effective route, lid, filter, bellows, then headers (I prefer Jet Hot over hooker, already coated and cheaper) true duals with an 'X' pipe. Then the convertor, and juice, pulley & cam package. Agree on researchign the cam too. The more mileage you see the more you may want to go small cam like 220, rather than 230/237 etc...
Your off to a good start though, a Chevy and the forum. Welcome.

Charlie.
