no bent pushrods, but what about lifter damage?
I know that guys in the past have done the dreaded 3-2 shift and bent pushrods in the process but what if you have chrome moly pushrods?
I pulled the pushrods out, they are still straight as an arrow. No broken valve springs either.
So do the lifters take all of the force when something like that happens? Causing multiple damaged lifters resulting in no oil pressure to top of engine?
(and yes I checked the pump, o-ring, cam retainer plate seal and cam bearings)
