Default Timing chain cover gasket

I'm in the process of replacing my cam in my 98 vette. A while ago I bought the timing chain cover gasket set. Either I misplaced the bottom piece or they forgot to send it. Can I get away with reusing the bottom gasket? Has anyone done this and had problems?

The bottom piece is part of the oil pan gasket and does not come off. The oil pan gasket is aluminum with a captive o-ring just like the timing cover gasket. Just use a little RTV in the corners where the block, timing cover and oil pan get meet.
