Default wanting thinner reasonably priced head gaskets

I have searched and am looking for reasonbly priced .040-.045" head gaskets (IE no cometics) this is for a weekend cruiser and 75$ea headgaskets are a waste of money in an non FI and non nitrous application. does anybody offer these? its for a 3.90 bore engine with 64cc non milled heads - or am i wasting my time and should get Fel-Pros or GM or GM MLS? although i cant find much info on their thicknes either.

I believe Mr. Gasket are thinner and the price is lower. Not sure how well they stand up over time though.

IIRC somebody on here had a set of these leak on startup. I would sacrifice a little compression and run GM if not Cometic.

GM MLS are .054 compressed. I would guess the GM graphite ones are very close to the same. I like the MLS cause if you ever have to pull the heads they come off so clean it saves a lot of prep work before they go back on.
