ls2 heads? Came across a set of ls2 heads.casting #799.does anyone have info on cc of chamber and ports.what effect on compression will these have on stock ls1 .010 overbore,am running gm ls6 cam and intake.

Take a look at the GM Performance parts catalog. It will give you the info. Also if you are considering them make sure you don't pay too much. A new set is $640 from Scoggins.

I have a set of these, they were measured to have a chamber size of 61cc. the 799s were supposed to be used on LS2 motors and the later 5.3l truck engines (or so has been posted on this forum)
