Have the MS3 cam with new LS7 lifters, so on so forth. It does have Mobil 1 5-30 oil. Doesn't matter hot or cold when you open the hood engine noise is very obvious. Pretty norm with these aggressive cams? Nothing to worry about? I'm figuring its ok, considering the ramp rates are like straight up and down, lol. Just wanna make sure. I know some people that said Mobil 1 ain't what it used to be and alot of people are having valvetrain noise with it. Whats another oil that works to quite these LS1's?
