How much cam can stock rockers take?

Default How much cam can stock rockers take?
I have a 6.0 lq4 that I am building as a low $$$ build I will be using ls1 853 heads milled .030 with patriot gold springs. I want to use the vengeance vrx5 cam 236/238 .601/.605 113 LSA will it be to much for stock rockers?

stock rockers should be fine, im running a bigger cam then that on stock rockers with no problems

i have ran trex and patriot duals,which is larger than the cam mentioned, trex cam uses pretty aggressive lobes, never had a problem with stock rockers

Did any of you guys verify your wipe pattern, this will be the trick with the stock rockers since they are hard to adjust once they start moving through a larger arc. I gave up and move to rollers for this reason.

Interesting. How big was the cam you were using when you did the swipe test? I'm thinking about ditching my HS rollers for rebuilt stock rockers and going with a bigger cam by years end.
