Default Gm Hot Cam

i know its possible but does anybody how to make at least 400+ rwhp with a gm hot cam only ls1 + bolt ons? Thanks

yeah....add heads

you're not gonna hit 400rwhp with that cam.

that cam design is pretty ancient. there are much better cam profiles on the market.

could come close if you spend money on EVERY bolton....but in the end, the money on those last few boltons would pay for budget heads and you'd be over 400hp

your car needs to be a six speed,
with my old stock motor, I had the hotcam and put down 393rwhp and 375rwtq through a 12 bolt! so I think I could have hit 400 then.
I think it can be done

yeah it is possible. one of my buddies has a hotcam and bolt-ons with an A4 and layed down 384RWHP. So depending if yours is auto or manual and also how good of a tune MAYBE 400rwhp will be in your site
