Default oil pressure gauge connection.....

I'm using a mechanical oil pressure gauge that I had conncted to that aluminum part above the oil filter. Now I installed a SC and I'm using that connection for the SC oil feed line. Is there any plugged oil path where I can connect the oil line for my gauge?
I don't want to use a t-piece and connect it down there again, 'cause usually to hook up a oil gauge you want to pick a spot in the block which is as far away from the pump as possible which would be the oil pressure sending unit, but I also don't want to use a t-piece here, is there any ๓ther plugged hole in the block?

is the oil pressure sending unit actually required? I know it would throw a code if it would be removed, but can't it be deleted in the PCM? like I said I'm using a mechanical gauge, so the OPSU basically is just there to keep the PCM happy...

PCM doesnt care about oil pressure. Use the factory location at the back of the block.

so you mean I can just remove the stock OPSU and it won't throw any codes?
that would be cool!
I made me a special 27mm socket today, it makes the removal of the OPSU a snap:

No, there will not be any codes. The only prob will be the check gauges light glowing if it isnt hooked up.

Would not having the oil pressure sender hooked up cause any issues with the drive by wire controls?
