Motor wants to over heat & oil pressure drops? ok i have a question
i have a 98 camaro Z28 and when i am driving it in hot weather, lately my temperture gauge has been going up and i have changed the hoses and thermostat, and when the temperture goes up the oil pressure drops.....does anyone know whats going on.

The oil press will drop as oil gets hoter... the hotter the oil temp the thiner it will get. Watch you oil press on a cold start it will be higher than normal. Have you burped out all the air in the lines since the hose and t stat install? you might want to take off the radatior cap and start engine make sure coolant is flowing and i will usually pump the bottom hose to help get air out.
