Default Whose got the weakest MS3 dyno numbers or 1/4 mile times?

I'm looking around and seeing n/a numbers in the low 400s and high 11s. Is anybody doing worse?

I have basically all the same mods as baszz99ta, and before I got the car tuned, I went to LACR in socal which has a ridiculous DA, clutch stuck to the floor on my 2-3 shift, still managed to go 13.1 @ 96 mph(2.6 60' on 18' zo6 wheels ). Just so happened to be last night the track was open, so I only got 1 run in(hundred and hundreds and hundreds of cars that night). It's the track I've raced everyone of my cars at since I was 16.

So a few weeks later, I get the car Dyno tuned. It makes 414rwhp baseline, with the injectors maxed out. I throw some bigger injectors in on the dyno, and the tuner got the bitch to 460rwhp. Sadly one of my ls6 heads took a dive and broke. For my mods and such, the PRC stage 2.5, 5.3 heads are a better bet for me. So I have a replacement set on the way.

400 rwhp is definetly achievable with the right mods and no heads. It's gonna be dif depending on if you're Auto or M6 though.

400whp is what Id like to be making but I do not have a converter I can lock-up at WOT and our local dyno is loaded, so I may never know for sure. Either way I dont really care what my car dynoes just what it runs at the track. I went 11.9 on a 75 shot and I'd like to now be there n/a. So far it looks like most people with this cam have an intake and full bolt-ons so I actually expect to be on the low end of the numbers, hence this thread . If its not doing what I like, then its gears and intake time. After that I'm done, I swear

You should see some pretty nice gains both on the dyno and at the track with this cam. Typically you will pick up 60-65 RWHP over the factory cam with the MS3. However, remember that dyno numbers don't always tell the whole story. Especially in an A4 car. On the other side of that, a stalled auto will really shine at the track. With the same track conditions, a low 12 second pass isn't out of the question!

Thats good to hear.... the last time at the track conditions were pretty shitty, 95 degrees and 4000 ft DA so I expect to be faster on weather alone this fall.

I made 410RWHP 376 RWTQ with
MS3
Pacesetter long tubes
True Duals
UD pully
LS6 intake
stock 853 heads
Then i switched to a y pipe with a cut out and managed to get a 12.9 @113 with a 2.2 60ft in the heat. I am going back next wednesday with slicks and we will see what i can do!

113 with full exhaust and a giant cam? Are you racing with a boat anchor on the back? Or are you racing on top of the rocky mountains?

Got an MS3 with TSP 2.5R LS6 heads. 390hp about 370 tq. But im barely at 10.1 comp since they didnt mill the heads as requested a few years ago. Took off the X-pipe off my duals and it responded alot better. More compression and a higher flowing intake and she will scream. My quarter times suck because of lack of good tires-Stock I ran a 12.4 with a 1.6 sixty. Well not all stock. I had headers, lid, catback, and a few susp pieces.

you should come to bristol...most cammed cars trap anywhere from 107-110...fastest h/c car ive seen trapped 114 it had the tv3 and 2.5 5.3 heads and some weight reduction.....mountain racing sucks...

lol what track do you race on. Is it down hill and you get to start from a roll hahaha My trap speeds are actually right about were they should be for my mods. And considering the conditions 140* F track temp on street tires and 3.42 gears i think i did fine.

I have the MS3 with stock 241 heads and CC 918 springs. My best all motor pass is 7.26 @ 93 in the 1/8th and 11.55@117 in the 1/4. The car has a Moser 12 bolt in it with 3.73 gears and a 28" M/T slick. My race weight is 3540. I have never had it on a dyno since the MS3 install.

I have a MS3 cam, stage 2 ported Ls6 heads, Ls6 intake, 4l60-3, 4400 stall. I made 430hp/390 locked. I also have a 175hp plate kit installed but yet to spray at the track. The fastest I ran was earlier this year 7.8@93mph with 1.7 60ft on motor with 315/35-17 Nitto's. That was spinning all the way down the track with a 10-bolt. Now I have a 12-bolt, and M/T ET streets so I will be running next month to see what it will do on the track. I know on the street with spray i have no problems with Terminator cobra's with KB superchargers. I will keep you guys posted on my times.
