just purchased a low mile set of assembled stock 317 heads with rockers/stands. they look good but what things should i check for? or do i just have to take it to a shop and have them check? i assume some of the obvious things such as:

-broken springs
-bent valves
-warped/chipped

anything else? how do you check valve seats, guides etc? recommendations on what to do to them before installation would be appreciated.
