Default Summit 1.7 roller rockers

Anyone running these? They look like a good value, I was just wondering if anyone has tried them before I bought a set.

I know a few years ago we had a ton of trouble with the cheaper pro form/Summit brand that fit the LT1 engines breaking roller tip pins and loosing needle bearings inside of the engines. That kinda makes me think twice about ever running cheap valve terrain components ever again..Goes back to you get what you pay for. Not a good place to try and save money

pro-form cheap rockers ARE NOT Summit brand related. Everything ive gotten that is summit brand (which is a ton of different things) has been extremely high quality, most of which is made by other big name manufacturers and they put their name on it (like alot of companies do)

I am not worried about the HP, I am worried about my HS modified stock rockers taking out a valve guide with my large camshaft.

X2, kinda, I dont have and summit products myself but the ones I have seen are of very high quality, I WOULD trust summit products, but again if worried the Harland Sharps have a long good rep and arent much more.

Just stay away from the scorpions, been some recent posts of repeat failure with them

DONT DO IT.

I have a few friends that work at Summit that used these, and each guy broke at least 4 rockers each, all LS1 cars. The Summit rockers are made by Scorpion btw.
