How Do You Install a Tach on a 2002 Z28?

Default How Do You Install a Tach on a 2002 Z28?

So, I just got a aftermarket Tach and I was woundering were I install it in to on the engine since there is no distributor. Is there a section were the stock tach is used on a coil pack? Which coil pack if that is where you tap it into?

I search for a Thread of a tach install and couldnt find on. Anybody jnow of any write ups?

Bump, Do I tie in to the cam sensor? Any help would be great.

Wire it to a power source as you would any gauge, and then tie in the tach signal wire to the white wire on Pin 10 of the RED connector on the PCM. If you have any questions, just PM me and I'll help. Really not that difficult. Good luck.

if you use red connecter white wire pin ten you must set up tach as 4cly/2 pulse.
