Default Gmpp lsx454??

I did a search but wasnt 100% sure. Can the crate motor just bolt into a 2002 Camaro. I know the 58x - 24x Reluctor Wheel Conversion Module will be needed but it is fuel injected and wondered if it can bolt in. Of course intake and other things are needed. Thanks in advance everyone

You probably have to change some minor details like the motor mounts and exhaust system to fit it in.

I have seen them with 496 and up so it shouldnt be that much of a hassle

Providing you're keeping it fuel injected (LS7 intake), yes it will physically bolt in (electronics may have to change a little though, exactly what I do not know). From what I understand, it would be like doing an LS7 swap just with an extra 128lbs, wet sump, and the ability to use all bell housing bolts with either newer or older transmissions. I'm sure there's someone on here who knows more on the LSX block and/or LS7s to give you more insight. Have you checked the Conversions & Hybrids section?

I have an LSX454 for sale if you are interested. It has less than 1000 miles on it. It has head work and a nasty cam.
