What is good spark plug? (427, LS3 heads, Trex cam)
What brand and type of spark plugs work well with stroker LSx engines? I am doing an engine swap and have a 427 based on Gen IV 6.0L block, with Texas Speed LS3 (L92) heads, Trex cam, and FAST 102 intake. I think compression is mid 10's.

Unless you're buying a total piece of junk plug made in India or something.......a plug is a plug.
Don't fall for the Iridium crap or the super duper E3 crap or others....
Just get NGK TR5 or TR55...they are the identical plugs. Sometimes its hard to find the TR55, TR5 is identical. They just come gapped differently from the manufacturer.
Check the gaps anyway, regardless of which you buy.....gap them to .050 That plug and gap is good for a bone stock LS1 all the way up a 650 RWHP built engine.
If you're gonna spray it.....gap should be smaller and use a colder plug.

NGK 6 would be a good start, TR55 for a hotter one and a 7 for a colder plug. I'm running 6's in my car and 7's for N2O. The 7's are too cold for daily driving they load up and the car won't idel.
