I did this once. Its the TPS. They're about $34 to replace. When you clean a throttle body all the sensors need to come off too. Moisture will seep through the butter fly bearing and will ruin the sensor after about 2 days. I see you might have bought a whole new TB.. Sorry man but it was only a TPS
Honestly, I seriously doubt the GM dealership did the idle relearn correctly.
You have to do it with the key off, everyone does it while running and it doesn't do anything. A lot of times cleaning the throttle body will screw with the idle until you do the reset with the Tech 2. Just a guess tho lol

I know this is old but i had similar problem with my L92 on my yukon denali, i did the relearn with my scanner & i did it manually and it didnt help. I even put a new throttle body and still nothing. At start up it will be normal but if i hit the gas pedal the rpm will stay pretty high. But if i start it up when cold its fine, i could leave it running for long periods and it will stay normal. If i shut it off & restart it the idle will be high. I did a lot of research and found one guy said these engines need a reflash so i did a ecm reflash and it solved the problem.
