My friend wants to sell me a fast intake for my 2000 ls1 camaro my motor is stock no cam no headers everything is stock. I was looking for a ls6 intake but he is giving me a good deal on the fast intake. Is it a bad idea to put the fast intake on my stock motor is it too big? would it slow me down?

No it will still give you a few hp even stock, but nothing really noticeable. Maybe better throttle response at best

Is it a fast 92 or 102? The fast intakes are not to big for our ls1 engines I put a ported fast 102 on my car I have a big cam and a really good set of heads tho and it made really good hp numbers the better airflow you have the more power you are going to make depending on how good of a deal hes giving you on it buy it and hang on too it until you start modding

I would pick it up. Then if you start putting other bolt ons it will start picking up the HP quick.

Id grab it. I ran a Fast for a while when my car was just bolt-ons bc of the price it was being sold at.
