Default Ls2 Intake Snout vs LS6? Hood Clearance issue.

I am working on a Porsche 944 swap. I have an LS6 intake, 3 bolt to 4 bolt spacer, and an LS3 throttle body. My issue is that I am hitting the hood with the mouth of the throttle body. It seems like the LS2 intake not only will eliminate the need for the spacer, but it also has a shorter nose, so the mating surface sits further back. Is this true? How do the FAST intakes compare?

With all that said, I guess I will be looking to trade my LS6 intake for an LS2...

Yes it should clear , If you go with the LS2 you can have it ported , they flow decent #s after porting. In stock form, even the LS1 take is better.
