Ok guys I'm in a dellima. I got the swap all done from the 4.8 to the cam ly6 6 liter and have an appointment with the tuner on Wednesday that took weeks to get but here's my issue.

the ls3 intake with the stock ly6 throttle body is hitting the alternator bracket and idler pulley because it's so much lover than the stock truck intake. Is there an easy fix for this?

my other option is to get a sheet metal intake if I'm spending that kind of money then I want one that will take a 102mm TB at some point but I don't know if my stock TB will work on the big intake till I can afford a bigger one.

Please help! What do I do?!?

You might have to switch over the the car accessory drive brackets.

Can you flip the throttlebody or better yet, get a 90mm TB. OEM pcs are pretty cheap new. $169.43

It's an easy fix. You have to cut the corner off the alternator bracket, and then move the ldler pulley over a couple inches, to a bolt bung. Lots of guys, including myself have done this with the LY6/LS3 intake. I don't remember if I had to buy a longer bolt or not, but even if I did, it's a $5 do it yourself fix.

Try these guys also. You can move the alternator wherever you want with the correct kit. Reasonably cheap also.
