6.0 LQ4/L92/L76 build question
Can I use the same rocker stands from my 317's on the L92 heads?
Using truck valve covers and truck coils and brackets what length of wires will I end up running?
Are the LQ9 pistons a complete flat top? I'm still trying to determine if I have the LQ4 or LQ9 short block.
Thanks in advance, 5150mechanic

Rocker Stands
The rocker stands and intake rockers are different. Got to fit that 2.16 intake valve somehow!!!! The intake rocker is offset.
The exhaust rocker can be changed over.
I plan on using my LS1 rocker covers on my 402 w/L92 heads.

the LQ4 and LQ9 have a different piston from what i remember. If im correct the LQ4 was similar to a dish style piston but the LQ9 came with a flat top giving it a higher compression ratio from factory....i "heard" this and "read" it here on ls1tech a while back so i may have them mixed up vice versa, OR totally wrong to begin with. Just my .02 hope you figure it out im looking into the same kinda thing now. Good luck with ur build!
PS- and yea i agree with the guy above me you can exchange the exhaust side rockers but the intake rockers have to be L92 specific. You will also need 2 rocker arm "stands" so be able to make it work.
