Default Looking for a cam...

A buddy just got a TA with a blown ls1 in it. Hes new to the lsx world. He was looking into getting a 6.0 iron block and doin a swap. Now that the motors out and everything he wants to at least throw a cam in it. Its has 317 heads. what would be a decent cam for a basically stock motor?

I had a G5X4 cam in my old setup and sprayed 150 through a 5.7 aluminum block all day all the time. its really all about the TUNE! The car lasted a long till i sold it... Only thing i would recommend is a good oil pump double roller chain and arp rod bolts . Lemme know if you interested though i have a cam for sale pretty cheap just pulled it outa my last setup its a comp 224/230 609/592 112+3 so it would be good for spray and chromoly pushrods 7.425 long to make up for the smaller base circle of the bigger cam all for 200 bucks in great shape only 7k miles could get pics. but minus the litlle sale you should be fine. You will cut it close if you mill the heads any more then .012
