about to intall an lg x4 cam on my c6 z....i heard from someone that u had to shave to pistons for clearance...does anyone have any info on this cam or anyone done this cam swap....thanks...matt

LS7 pistons have valve reliefs already. I don't know the lift or duration on that cam but it is highly unlikely that you will need to fly-cut LS7 pistons for valve clearance.

thats what i figured....i called lg and they said they have never heard or anything like that and said it was crazy.....so thats a relief...that would be a nightmare to get inside a job like that finding out something like that needed to be done.....ya no
