Default ls7 cam in a LY6

I have an ly6 6.0 with l92 heads, ls3 intake and want to lose the vvt. How will an ls7 cam work in this motor? I know the cam will work with new timing gear/chain and cover but will it help performance. I understand that aftermarket cams would be the best choice but I have an ls2 and ls7 camshafts.

it would probably end up hurting you...

check this out if you're looking at camming..

I'm not sure why people always insist on wanting to lose the VVT...
